Understanding Universal Design and how it accommodates a wide range of individual preferences and abilities is important for our clients to know. It’s the approach to design, to be as usable as possible by as many people as possible regardless of age, ability or situation

We take the time to listen and understand, making sure we are incorporating everything necessary for you to be able to live comfortably today, as well as in the future.

Specific design concepts such as:

• Hallway widths and access, as well as door width and locations. This is important if walkers or a wheelchair might be used in the future
• Specific bathroom and kitchen designs adjusted for client posture and mobility.
• Heights of electrical outlets, and switches, as wells as heights of counter tops, and appliances. Again taking in consideration our clients reach and mobility.
• Specific lighting patterns to accent walk ways, steps, and storage areas, keeping our clients safety and comfort in mind.
